Oklahoma’s extremist State Superintendent Ryan Walters (who now says he’s resigning to lead an anti-teachers union group) says he’ll put a Turning Point USA club in every high school under the guise of “protecting kids.” In reality, he’s shoving TPUSA’s agenda of anti-history, whitewashing, & bigotry into schools that are already underfunded & struggling. It’s not education — it’s the culting of America. And like its initials suggest, TPUSA is TP’ing the country: covering it in trash & calling it freedom.

This is authoritarian doublespeak. They accuse others of “indoctrination” while doing the indoctrinating. MAGA leaders weaponize fear of “woke” to disguise their real project: turning classrooms into pipelines of far-right propaganda, lies, & violence. This isn’t about teaching kids to think, it’s about teaching them what to think. Walters wants to erase history, justice, & truth. Oklahoma kids deserve better than a failing system turned into a far-right training camp. And America deserves better than being TP’d by lies & hate.
